Willie Burroughs, President of Isaachar Solutions Group, Inc. is a leadership and performance coach speaker, and veteran school business official currently supporting the Council of the Great City Schools as Director of Management Services.
He leads strategic support teams and manages operational reviews for superintendents and senior managers. He also organizes annual meetings for chief financial officers, chief operating officers, human resources directors, chief information officers, and technology directors, while addressing requests for management information.
Before joining the Council, Willie was the Chief Operations Officer for the San Antonio Independent School District, overseeing the operations services division with over 1.600 employees. His responsibilities included child nutrition, transportation, procurement, and real property facilities (maintenance and construction). Prior to this, Willie was an executive director at the Dallas Independent School District, managing maintenance, HVAC, grounds, environmental services, custodial, capital improvement, and energy management. He also dedicated nearly 11 years to the Hoston Independent School District, holding various roles such as general manager of construction services (bond), senior manager of contract administration, and senior manager of special projects.
Willie’s career began in manufacturing, where he spent 11 years in leadership roles at Cooper Industries, including materials analyst, manufacturing engineer, manufacturing supervisor, production manager, project manager, and operations manager. He then transitioned to the services industry with Aramark as General Manager for maintenance operations with the Houston Independent School District before becoming a direct employee of the district.
Willie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Clemson University. He was also commissioned as an officer in the United States Army Signal Corps.
Fun Facts: Willie enjoys running, reading, cooking, and spending time with his family. He is a life member of Omega PSi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.
